Online Induction System
Refreshed User Interface
As part of the recent system updates, we have made some changes to the UI to provide not only a more modern look to Altora but also one that enhances the usability and navigation of the site. With these changes, we aim to make your experience easier and more intuitive when using Altora.
System Settings
The System Settings can now be found in the top right-hand corner by clicking on the profile icon ().
In addition, we have simplified the settings section so that now only contains settings that are applicable to your Altora system.
Setup Assignment & Tasks
Wondering how to create and manage user tasks and programs? This will now be located under the section of the Users tab. Organising tasks and programs under the Setup section allows for a more streamlined and user-friendly experience. It centralises all user-related items, making it easier to manage and access necessary tools.
Course Editor
Altora Courses and SCORM Courses* can now be found in the Courses tab under the Setup Section. Next to each course type title, you will be able to view the total number of courses to keep track of how many you still have available in your plan.
To create and edit course content, it will no longer be managed through the course editor tab and instead by clicking on the Edit Course Content link at the top right of the course matrix.
*SCORM courses will count towards your course count meaning depending on what plan you're on this will limit the amount of SCORM courses available (e.g Standard plan with 5 courses (e.g. if you are utilising 3 standard courses you have 2 SCORM courses available)
SCORM courses are only available on Standard, Premium and Enterprise plans and will need to be made active in your system upon request, please email support@altora.com.au to add this to your platform.
Bulk Actions
Bulk Actions can now be found under the three dots next to the right-hand side of the Users box.
Bulk Resubmission Action
We're excited to announce a new bulk actions feature. The Recollect user tasks action will allow you to request that your users re-submit or complete a task. The user will be sent an email notification that will prompt them to complete the task that has been requested, this will not expire the task but instead ask for a resubmission.
Account Name on Dashboard
You will now see your account's name on the top-right side of your dashboard. The account name has been added as an easy reference for those who might have multiple systems.
Customise Course Completion Notification
We have added another type of notification that can be customised to include your own message. The course completion notifications now have the option to be customised. This can be found under System Settings > Account > Notifications and then scroll to the bottom under COURSE COMPLETION CUSTOM MESSAGE.
Send Set Password to Users
In a user's profile under their User Settings, we have updated the section where you can set their password to now allow for their new password to be sent to the user in an email by ticking the Send new password to user box.
Expire User Tasks
We have added the function to mark a task as expired on an individual user level. To do this, locate the user's profile and find the task you would like to expire. Once you have located the task, click on the three dots to the right-hand-side and the click on Mark Expired. This will expire the task and then send an email to the user to notify them that their task has expired and needs to be re-completed.
Request Resubmission of User Tasks
In conjunction with the above feature, we have also added the function to request the resubmission of a task on an individual user level. To do this, locate the user's profile and find the task you would like to request to be completed. Once you have located the task, click on the three dots on the right-hand side and click on Request Completion. This will then send an email notification to the user requesting that they complete that exact task.
Contractor Management System
Refreshed User Interface
Setup Compliance Requirements
Creating and managing company tasks and pre-qualification will now be found under the section of the Companies tab. Organising tasks and Pre-Qualifications under the Setup section allows for a more streamlined and user-friendly experience. It centralises all company-related items, making it easier to manage and access necessary tools.
Company Admin Details
When updating the details of a company's admin it will now direct you to their user profile first. After receiving some feedback from our clients, we have become aware that it may not have been clear that the company admin's details are linked to their user profile in the system. This way we can ensure that no confusion is made by having it more apparent where the update is occurring.
Check-In System
Site Admin Notified of Non-Registered Users
Previously, site admins would only receive a notification if a registered user checked into a site. We have updated this so that the site admins will now receive email notifications of both registered and non-registered user check-ins.
