Did you know that you can set a notice message to appear when users login?
Altora has the function of having a pop-up notification appear on the user’s screen when they log in. It can be used to either display a message to users logging in or require them to agree to the notice to continue. The notice has the functionality to either appear every time a user logs in or only be set to be displayed once to the user.
This feature can be particularly handy if you wish to have a personalised welcome message for when a new user creates an account or if you have a set list of instructions you need to inform the user of.
Where to access it?
This function is located under Settings > Account > Behaviour, and once in this tab, scroll down to the “Post Login Notice” section. From here, you will have the ability to enable the notification.
Once the function has been enabled, you can set how often the notice is displayed, the title, contents of the notice, and whether the notification is a message or a terms and conditions.
Please see the below definitions for each function:
How does it appear on the user end?
After the user either registers a new account or logins into their existing account, before they are redirected to their induction home page, they will be displayed with the notification.
