You can now choose to pre-qualify third-party companies. This involves sending an invite through Altora to the company, who will then complete an application. The following is a step-by-step guide for setting up and inviting third-party companies to the pre-qualification process.
Before inviting companies to complete pre-qualification, you will first need to set up your pre-qualification flow by following these three simple steps:
a) Navigate to Settings > Company > Pre-qualification within your Altora admin dashboard.
b) Upload a questionnaire for your potential contracting companies. If you require a questionnaire, you can download a template here.
c) Afterwards, you can add ‘Tasks’ such as any relevant licences, permits or insurances that you require for pre-qualification.
Now that the flow is established, you are free to begin inviting your contracting companies:
1. Within Companies, click the ‘+ Add New’ button in the top left corner:
2. You will be asked if pre-qualification is required for this company. Select ‘Yes’ and continue.
3. Enter the company details, including a valid email where the application will be sent:
.
4. Review the details you have input is correct and click ‘Confirm’. An invitation will now be sent to the company to complete.
Once the invitation is sent, the third-party company will now need to complete the application by filling in their company details, a questionnaire, and their licence and insurance information.
After this application has been submitted by the contractor, you can click ‘Verify’ to review the details and choose to accept, reject or request a resubmission. If the information provided is satisfactory and you choose to accept the contracting company, they will be successfully added to your list of approved companies within Altora.
