If you have pre-existing training content inside PowerPoint, it can be imported into Altora.
This tool is to assist and save you time. It avoids the manual work of copying every slide from a PowerPoint file to Altora. The transfer of slides will only copy text, images, tables and links. Once it is copied, you can head to the Course Editor to continue building and formatting the look of your courses.
How to use the Course Slide Importer
To copy your existing PowerPoint courses into Altora, follow the steps below:
Once logged in:
- Go to Users > Setup > Courses
- Select your course matrix and click on Edit Course Content
- Click on the
button in the centre of the screen*
- Select your PowerPoint file
- Then click the Import button
*If you already have existing slides within the matrix, click on the three dots in the top-right corner to locate the Import Slide button.
If successful, you will be redirected to the course matrix with the newly created slides.
