END USER PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION NOTICE
This Personal Information Collection Notice (Notice) is provided to you by Axion SD Pty Ltd (trading as Altora Solutions) (ABN 68 153 003 368) (Altora, we, our and us) to notify you of certain matters related to how we collect, handle and disclose your Personal Information as required under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) when a third party Altora platform user (Altora Client) requests your Personal Information via the Altora platform.
When we refer to “Personal Information”, we mean:
Information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable:
a) whether the information or opinion is true or not; and
b) whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not.
This may include a person's name, age, gender, postcode, or contact details. It may also include financial information, such as credit card or transaction details, as well as a range of other types of data requested by an Altora Client (e.g. details required by your employer to onboard you as an employee).
2 NOTICE OF COLLECTION
Where you have been provided this Notice by us, we have done so to notify you that we have collected, or will be collecting, your Personal Information either directly from you or via the Altora platform at the direction of an Altora Client (e.g. your employer).
3 HOW WE COLLECT/HAVE COLLECTED PERSONAL INFORMATION
a) We will be collecting your Personal Information from web analytics tools, ‘cookies’ or other similar tracking technologies that allow us to track and analyse your usage when using the Altora platform. Cookies are small files that store information on your computer, mobile phone or other device and enable and allow the creator of the cookie to identify when you visit different websites.
b) We will also collect your Personal Information when you provide that Personal Information to us via any use of the Altora platform, including where an Altora Client has created its own content or forms via the Altora platform. For example, by completing onboarding materials as part of an induction by your employer administered on the Altora platform including any documentation provided by your employer to us (such as identity documents, qualifications, licences, insurances, certifications, financial documents or other documents containing your personal information).
4 PURPOSE OF COLLECTION
4.1 WHY ARE WE COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We are collecting your Personal Information for the following purposes:
a) to enable us to provide our services via the Altora platform to you or any Altora Client (e.g. your employer); and
b) to improve and optimise our service offering, client experience and Altora platform usability.
4.2 CONSEQUENCES IF PERSONAL INFORMATION IS NOT COLLECTED
Without your Personal Information we may not be able to provide you or the Altora Client (e.g. your employer) with our services or may only provide limited functionality within the Altora platform.
5 ACCESS TO AND DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Where we collect your Personal Information at the request of an Altora Client via the Altora platform that Altora Client is the administrator of the relevant account and is responsible for that request to collecting your Personal Information.
a) we handle Personal Information;
b) you may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act or a registered code which binds us and how we deal with such a complaint; and
c) you can access your Personal Information and seek its correction.
