Once the Check In System has been set up on the admin end and the tablet has been linked up to it's corresponding kiosk location, the user will be able to check in on the tablet. To do this they will need an induction user login and will need to ensure that a mobile number is linked to their profile. If the user does not have an induction user login, direct them to the induction site and have them register a new account. If the user has a user induction login but no mobile number linked to their account, they can either amend this by logging into their account and updating their profile details or an admin can manage this on their end (to learn more on how to do this, please click here).
How to Check In
The kiosk tablet should be set up with the check-in login in page. The user will come up to the tablet, enter in their mobile details and click Check In.
Once the user has clicked Check In if there are no pending tasks due the check-in will be successful and they will be presented with a successful check-in page so that they can move along and allow the next user to check-in.
If there are outstanding tasks:
If the user has any outstanding or expired tasks that need to be completed as a site requirement, once they attempt to check in they will be presented with the which exact tasks they will need to complete. From there they can scan the QR code on their phone which will direct them to the induction login page which they can complete the outstanding tasks and also move the queue along to allow other users to check in.
If already checked in:
If a user tries to check in and this user has already checked in, they will receive a pop message to inform the fact they have already checked in and can either choose to check in again or not. A user may want to check in again if they didn't check out the last time they were on site and want to overwrite their current check-in with a more accurate reflection of when they've arrived on site.
Checking Out:
For the user to check out once they've already checked in, they will need to return to the kiosk they originally checked in at, enter in their mobile number on the same login page however this time click the button on the left-hand side. Once the user has successfully checked out they will be presented with the check out page which will confirm the date and time they checked out.
